Bella Ciao: This beach-side Italian restaurant is famous for its delicious authentic Italian food. The restaurant serves almost everything and anything that is Italian pizzas, pastas, lasagna, tiramisu and more. The menu also features salads, burgers, hot dogs etc. In true Italian style, the dishes are cooked with traditional Italian ingredients and small doses of spices. Based on the availability of materials in the local markets, the items on the menu also change. The ambience is quite lovely with cool breeze wafting in from the sea. They also have a branch on Nungambakkam High Road.

Not so good...not getting the pure taste of italian food...ambiance is also not that good..price is also high..the only plus point is, it is located very close to the beach thats it...my suggestion is not to visit this restaurant...
I was here a couple of months back.. the ambience is surely a great plus..something like this near the beach is very rare to find in Chennai. As for as the food, I pretty much liked it, I guess this is the closest you can get to authentic italian taste given the local availability of raw material.

well..not exactly the best Italian food i have eaten,nd not exactly cheap either,"expensive bad food", perhaps the most abhorred phrase in a foodie's vocab.to be fair to Bella Ciao, the place does have a nice ambiance with open gardens with candle lit stone benched et all.
All the good reviews about Bella Ciao led us to this horrible place. One thing I understood after visiting this place is that the people who wrote good reviews about this place have never tasted good food in India or they are people who boast of their Prestige & Status.
Bella Ciao was an utterly useless place. Moreover it burns a big hole in the pocket for the stupidest food they serve.
Wow! I now understand why they allow dogs. So that the diners can dispose off their food with their Dog's Help.
I strongly ban this hotel to all the People who like to taste good food and to those who dont like throwing their money into the drain
