Here I want to tell the scam being run by the Central Mall to attract customers and play with them. A few days back, I visited the mall at JP Nagar, Bangalore wherein I along with my sister shopped for Dussehra festival for a good amount of rupees twenty thousand on apparels. At that time, the aforesaid mall was streaming an offer of providing voucher booklets on every purchase made above rupees four thousand for a worth of rupees twenty thousand coupons and hence, we got five booklets on separate bills for the respective purchase made by us.
In order to redeem the vouchers, after carefully reading the rules written on the overleaf, we went to the same mall again and made purchases within the voucher limits. What is an obvious interpr ... और देखेंetation to the rules specified in point three and point seven, one can only infer that for purchase of a product from a single brand, three vouchers of the respective brand can be used to redeem the price of the voucher for a single bill. Nowhere it specifies that only one voucher can be redeemed for a single product of the specified brand. That time, after convincing the manager for a good while, we managed to redeem our vouchers by buying stuff within the voucher limits. Settled.
A few days back, we again went to the mall, to redeem the leftover vouchers as the time for redeeming was going to lapse and earlier we were short of time so couldn't redeem all of them at once. We didn't feel the need to ask the manager as to the procedure of redemption of the vouchers as we got them redeemed the last time and there was no such big issue. After spending our two and a half hours in the mall, finding products that would fit within the voucher limits we finally went for billing where the manager REFUSED TO TAKE OUR VOUCHERS STATING THAT ONLY ONE VOUCHER COULD BE REDEEMED AGAINST PURCHASE OF SINGLE PRODUCT OF A BRAND. We were highly disappointed and explained the manager at the ground floor main billing centre that we had used the vouchers earlier to take products home by using three vouchers at a time. We asked the manager to go by the rules to which he very rudely replied that the earlier case was an exception but now we do not allow any such discounting. After which we left the stuff at the billing centre as we didn't want to create a scene for anything as such. And now I still have a stack of the various coupons from the endorsed brands concerning the offer.
My sincere advice to the management at Bangalore Central Mall, JP Nagar is that if you people do not know how to read and follow the rules prescribed by you regarding usage of certain schemes you run to attract customers, better do not run such schemes for the avoidance of loss of time and energy of the customers who fall for your scheme. And also, I would prefer an adequate response from the management in regard to this incidence.संक्षेप देखें
