A narrow flight of stairs is the pathway to some authentic homemade Bengali cuisine.
There is usually no fixed menu, but the waiters are friendly, who guide you as per your tastes. A vegetarian meal along with a non-vegetarian special-of- the- day is usually recommended. I visited this restaurant and it really serves good quality bengali food at real cheap rate. The food is very tasty and authentic and is way cheaper than any other fine dining bengali restaurants in bangalore.
i think this is one of the most authentic bengali restaurant in bangalore......i dont know wat my other friends think about it, but fr me this is one of the best ( in terms of taste) & reasonable restaurant running in bangalore... u guys rock...For me its just like home food...great taste , great people...

This guys are real cheater. Yesterday we went their and to my surprise they charge Rs 160 for rice , dal and 2 pieces of chicken and that also the food quality was very low quality. Please I request all the oriyas and bengali guys. Please do not visit this place.. they are just bluddy cheaters..
-1. absolute NO GO. I went to indira nagar bangaliana and they looted my 90 rupees for a small piece of fish and almost no gravy [less than 1/10 of what normal restaurants give] for what they called Bhetki fish "curry" - but no curry and no fish. Absolute crap.
