Today, I had called the Star City Taxi at 9:30 am to book taxi for 12:30 pm to pick us from Kudlu and drop at Yashwantpura railway station as the train starts at 3:30 pm. Whenever I drive, it takes maximum 1 hour 30 minutes. So thought 3 hours in advance should be pretty good time. They took my order and did not take any action. At 12:30 pm when I called them on why the taxi did not come, they then realized and called a driver at 12:45 pm. The driver did not call me till 12:45 pm and I called back the taxi again. Finally driver called me at 12:55 PM and told me that the taxi guys called him to pick us at that time only. By the time driver came to our place at 1:30 pm. I had doubt whether can we reach or not as the driver was not sure about

ITS REALLY HORRIBLE SERVICE I HAVE EVER SEEN. WE CALLED THE TAXI FOR MORNING 9AM FROM CSB LAYOUT TO YESVANTPUR RAILWAY STATION AS PICKUP AND DROP SERVICE. FROM 8AM I WAS FOLLOWING THOSE DRIVER AND HE TOLD HE WILL BE COME BY 9 AM SHARP. BUT AFTER SO MANY CALL I TRIED AND LAST HE CAME AT 9:35 AM. I WAS FEELING NOTHING AT THAT TIME . OUR TRAIN WAS 11.15 AM.
THE DRIVER IS SO SO SO LAZY AND CANT DRIVE PROPERLY. BETTER ANY BODY CAN WALK AND REACH FASTER THAN HIM. ANYHOW WE MISSED THE TRAIN. IT WAS A HORRIBLE DAY FOR US.
DON'T CALL THIS AGENCY. SO MUCH UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE. DON'T EVER BOOK YOUR TAXI FROM THIS OFFICE.

Horrible service & a terrible experience is all I can say.
The driver intended to take me from the Bangalore Cantonment to Indiranagar via Mekri Circle !!
At each junction he tried to take a wrong turn which I had to ensure he doesn't !!
Throughout the journey driver kept blabbering how bad a deal I have provided as it is not going to be a big distance and he'll not get any customer on the way back.
A distance which is normally not more than 10 Km came out to be 15 Km.
Created a scene at the place I was suppose to be dropped, asked for luggage charge of Rs. 100 which I was never told of when I booked the cab, despite asking the same for numerous time to the executive.

Pathetic Taxi service. Bad service , totally unreliable.
We asked for a higher end a/c starcity cab to airport and on phone the rate was fixed at 700. But in the end , a indica turned up and once asked to turn on a/c , he started asking double money and started shouting on us asking to shut our mouth and sit. Feeling scared by his behaviour, we stopped the cab and asked for luggage. He didnt give us the luggage till he took 300 as cancellation charges from us for fault of his only. Even the head office dont take these complains seriously.
Once earlier booked this cab for a day to eskcon for my parents , they took them using the longest route possible and meter showed double the distance. actually meru and city taxi are completely busy

Today, I took a Star City taxi from my home at marathahalli(bangalore) to victoria layout.
Being a regular commuter, I know very well that the distance between these places is 15kms.
I often take cab in this route and all the cabs end up showing 15kms. But today in Star City
cab km reading went on to show 21kms. When asked the driver about this he started behaving
rude and giving abuses in kannada. The vehicle no. is KA05AB765. Driver's mobile no is 9591772398.
When complained this to the Star City Cabs office, they simply hung up without any response and
when I try to call them again, they are not attending my call.

I had an harrowing experience with this. They don't tell you hidden costs about minimum distances and expect you to know the rules. Their drivers are naive. They don't know the correct routes and try to argue with you when you tell them the correct route. Star city taxi presumes 1) the customer knows all their rules 2) all hidden costs will be told to you by the driver when your trip is over.
I had this experience with them when I booked them for a drive to skandagiri on March 26 th 2011 night. The driver will then argue and tell you that i need to come to their office i want to put forward a point.
The only thing good was that the car we got was good. and that is the reason why i am giving it an extra star i.e 2 stars. If you are looking
