Manipal County: This resort is about modern amenities, Wi-Fi connectivity, mini bars in all rooms, in-room safes, satellite TV, doctor on call, and 24-hour room service. Spread over 16 acres, Manipal County also has a clinic for health check-ups; an aromatherapy spa for body wraps, milk baths, mud packs and stress management; a juice bar; a fully equipped gym; yoga sessions on the lawns; a swimming pool, various indoor and outdoor games, and a park for children. Seven Spices is an all-day multi cuisine restaurant; there is also a fine dine Grill Restaurant. For corporate meets, use Kassia, their hall with a capacity of 1500 seats.

We had been to Manipal county for our project party on the 20th of September. I must say, the buffet spread was really good. With 4 non-veg dishes in the menu, the meat-eaters had a blast. The wonderful thing is the vegetarians did not feel short charged either, as there were quite a few choices for them as well. The service was courteous, yet unobstrusive. The facilities offered at this resort for the day-package charged at Rs.400/head, inclusive of lunch, are quite good, although could be better. They have a decent cricket field, although a little small, badminton court, a swimming pool, a TT table, and a tennis court which seems to have been neglected. All in all, a good place to spend with your colleagues.
