I was in Vidyodaya just for one year in 1966 when I completed my 10 year SSLC and my family moved from Trivandrum to Madras City. Ms. Appasamy was the Headmistress. She resisted from giving me admission, as she was afraid I will lower the standard of Vidyodaya. I was able to prove her wrong - by doing very good after getting ready for with course work from 9 to 11 to enter for my second SSLC exam. I had support from all my teachers and even many of my classmates who were amused by this very short person in their class. It is too many years from that time but I still remember the morning talks, the many beautiful songs we sung, home economics class under the mango tree, music classes, joy of being part of the Gandhi house, the excellent teac

Can any seniors of this school who has passed out of the Vocational stream in Commerce, Accountancy and Auditing please tell us if you or any of your friends of similar stream were able to get addmission inot the commerce (B.com) degree courses in any of the following colleges; Stellamaris, Wcc, MOP Vaishnav, Ethiraj, MCC???? This information is critical as many of the said colleges do not consider the vocational stream A/a of the said subjects into their B. com programmes without a mathematics as a subject. For instance a B.com(CS), Bcom (Bank MAnagement), Bcom(Comp. Appl.), B.com (ism), even against an eligiblity crietria from any group in +2 the above students dont stand a chance, even if you score 95% and above???? What then is the need

what I learned from school I can never get from anyone.those days teachers will take interest in correcting u and guiding u properly when u had any problem.i like to thank all my teachers who had tought me the good things in life,mainly my class teacher in tenth mrs.jayalakshmi used to be very patient with all the students and she has tought us to be brave and handle the situations when we are alone so many things I remember about my good school.mrs.muthiah was our moral instruction teacher ane even now I remember her appreciations in her class made when we wrote any good thing on the topics when we write,i like to know when some one will tell me if u remember the school assembly songs in the school diary we used to have that time.all my cl

I studied in vidyodaya schools from the year 1982 to 1986.this school has tought me so many good things in life.my class teacher from 6th shyla mam ,viola mam,mrs.pandian mam,and mrs.jayalakshmi mam I love the school and our mrs.pandian mam used to take us outside under the shade to take the lessons ,apart from studies there were classes on stiching,indian music,western music,and we had big play ground where basket ball ,volley ball court were there and all the items in pt room we used to get .candle light ceremony was the one I liked the most good canteen with normal rates everything I liked in my school in total good friends good teachers,in everything we were good at that time.the teachers were always supportive all teachers name I remem

it is one of the worst skools in chennai maybe once it was gud but right now there is no standard in teaching in fact teachers like for phy and all even will not work out the problems on the board no proper explanations from any teacher no planned systematic learning horrible and they put a lot of unwanted sick pressure too there r gud skools pls choose wisely i strongly recommend not to join in this stupid skool
