Subhash Gupta , Dr. Shaleen Agarwal and Team Hospital - Max Super Speciality Hospital Saket I am very sad to inform you that my mother was declared dead by Max Super Speciality Hospital Saket on 15th Nov 2022. My mother was admitted to Max Saket on 30th August 2022 for minor surgeries of Parastomal hernia and cholecystectomy (Gallbladder Removal). She came to hospital on foot and travelled all the way from train up to New Delhi and was in good condition and her all parameters were normal. Due to surgical Blunders her small intestine Â cut down during the first two surgeries by Max Healthcare on 31st Aug 2022. But no one from the medical team or surgery team informed us. After o ... और देखें perations her condition started to deteriorate and her oxygen level , BP dropped drastically. Doctor informed us that this is nothing to worry about and she will be normal in 1-2 days. But after seeing no improvement they admitted my mother to the ICU. On 4th Sep 2022 , Doctors shifted my mother to the operation room without the consent of family and patient. We were surprised and shocked when we came to know that her third surgery started without our consent and without discussing with us the reason for the third surgery. But with no alternative we have to sign a paper Â later on for the well being of my mother. After the operation doctor informed us they have removed a 1 feet small intestine due to infection. We were surprised and shocked and we asked the doctor how the small intestine got infected. But we did not get any proper response. Doctors hide the reason behind this. Doctor pasted it to connect cutting edges of the small intestine. Doctor told us we have to wait for 7 - 8 days to see if pasting will hold or not. After 4th September , My mother was on a ventilator up to 6th October 2022 and her condition was critical and survival chances were quite low. As a family we prayed day and night for her survival. She suffered unbearable pain on each day of her stay in hospital due to surgical blunders. She was unconscious for many days after the third surgery and was on continuous ventilator and many other machines. Approx. 12th Sep 2022 , pasting did not hold and a large wound got opened in her stomach as attached in photos. She started to feel unbearable pain on stomach area due to large open wounds. Whatever she eats , around 80 to 90% leaked of her stomach has a large wound and that is quite horrible to see such a situation with my mother. Doctor told us her large wound may recover with food and diet. ICU staff and nurses were not cooperative and seemed quite rude to patient and patient family requests. ICU staff were not serving her proper food and she was not able to speak due to the tracheostomy tube. She started to get some strength in hand after a few days and started writing to us about ICU staff behaviour and rudeness when we visited her during ICU visiting hours. We have complained the same to ICU In Charge Doctor Dibyajyoti but he seems to take it lightly and no proper care was provided. We are shocked to see only one Wound care Nurse was available in Max Healthcare Saket and she was unavailable most of the time due to leaves and holidays and unavailability. Due to the large wound my mother dresses with a wound bag and that works for hardly 2-3 days and gets leaked very soon. If leakage is not controlled then it will cause severe infection to patients with fever , shivering and skin infections. Most of the time her bag replacement was delayed by 2 to 3 days due to lack of wound care bag replacement staff. That caused my mother's condition to further worsen due to fever and infections. We informed the hospital and Dr. Subhash Gupta many times but no adequate steps taken. No adequate steps taken by ICU staff to address issues and my mother clothes , skin get wet with leakage coming out of side and many times she got infected with fever and serious infections and that also delayed wound healing process Finally after suffering for 76 days , the Doctor decided to do a fourth surgery on 14th Nov 2022. After surgery ,bleeding continued and she was unconscious. She died on 15th Nov 2022 and all her unbearable pain also disappeared. She wanted to live but surgical blunders and lack of proper nursing services at Max Saket took away her life. Initial estimate was 2.25 lakh and final bill was more than 40 lakh+ Total Bill was in excess of 40 lakhs + we have spent around 4-5 lakhs on stay and meals etc. at New Delhi + Around medicines and wound bags of 2 lakh we have managed ourselves. With a fighting spirit my mother survived for 76 days and her cries in pain keep coming in our memories. My Father is 72 years old and suffered a lot and relentlessly served my mother in hospital day and night. Due to lack of services my father used to clean her wound bag many times. A very disastrous and heart-breaking experience from MAX Hospital Saket. Most people say that Hospitals in India are into a vicious money making business and have lost the human touch, and thats true. I had a first-hand experience this month of how doctors and the hospitals are only interested in extracting money and taking advantage.

Dr. Kinjal Banerjee, Urology: One of the most diligent, dedicated and competent duty doctors that we have met here. Totally clued on, very patient with tremendous attention to detail. Highly recommend him, trust him and delighted to have my family under his supervision!
While my father's case was complicated, this doctor was able to pull together the right teams and support his recovery. He was extremely committed and we really appreciated this effort in helping my father recover with ease.

My mother got operated for gall bladder stone in Max Saket by Dr. Rajesh Khullar. Dr Rajesh Khullar is an excellent person and a very good doctor. Staffs at max saket were excellent. Thanks to Dr. Khullar and his team.

I recently underwent a gall bladder removal surgery in Max Saket. Truly awesome experience. Dr Rajesh Khullar is a great surgeon - makes you so comfortable and his skill as a surgeon is truly divine. The staff was unbelievably good. The anaesthesists in the preparation room, the nurses there all did their best to make me comfortable. The response time for a nurse on pressing the call bell was always less than a minute. the hygiene levels are excellent. Highly recommended for laproscopic surgeries

I was admitted for a DNS operation ...which has made by life hell ...since past 1 year ...I am struggling for life as after DNS operation ..Dr caused Skull Base Damage ...and Total loss of Smell ...leading to CSF leakage and meningitis....Then I got another operation for CSF repair from another Hospital ..but still not fine . ...I tried not to write to you ...But my suffering in past 1 year ..compels me to update you so that you may save a few life . .It is highly unprofessional treatment permanent loss of smell and ..loss to personal and family life ...and a great loss I incurred .

The best thing about Max, Saket is their staff. Be it the doctors or the nurses or even the cleaners, they all do their bit to help you out. My friendâs family was devastated when they came to know about his cancer. I still remember the day. My friend was in tears; I tried to console him, but he kept crying. I wished I could do something for him. Heâd been diagnosed with lung cancer. His smoking habit was finally ruining him. We all searched for the best hospital, for the best doctors. Somebody close to family suggested Max. We, however, took him to another hospital, where he remained for 2-3 days.
