Miranda House: Miranda House is a residential college for women; its a leading Women's Institution of Delhi University. Miranda House has been operating since the year 1948. They offer liberal education in humanities and science to more than 2500 young women from around the country. The courses they offer are B. A. Honours in English, Hindi, Economics, Political Science, Sociology, History, Philosophy, Geography, Mathematics, Sanskrit, Bengali, Music, B. Sc. Honours in Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology and Mathematics, B. Sc. Life Sciences, B. Sc. Applied Physical Science, B. El. Ed. (Four Year Course). Several extracurricular activities are available too.
