I am Saumya Chakrabarti. In the year 1967 I got admission in Mitra institution. This year Sabyasachi Bhattacharya stood first and Uday Gupta stood tenth in HS exam. As a kid then and as a middle aged person now - I feel proud of my school. in 1971 HS Arunava Guha stood third and lot more.Violent Naxalite movement was seen by me during that time. Prafulla Chakraborty ,Jagadanada Roy , Nitin Babu, Biren Babu in Maths were the illustrious teachers but we were kid that time
.During our time Anadi Nath bandopadhyay was Head-Sir.
I feel bad that still there is no website for this school.

Myself is Siben Sarkar. A science student of this great school. I passed in the year 1967 with our friend Sabyasachi Bhattacharya who stood first in HS exam in that year. Also Uday Gupta , a Sc. student who stood 10th in HS exam in the same year. Now I'm a retired SAIL senior executive( in Nov'2010) from ISP Burnpur, Asansol and presently staying at naktala. I also cherish the memories of my school days with all those legendary teachers. Still I feel proud of my school. My contact no.9874406999.
