Charnock's: A rooftop restaurant view of Salt Lake Stadium way up here at this local hotspot. The view is just one of the crowd-pullers. The other is the food. You get a nice mix of Bengali cuisine, North Indian fare and Continental favourites. Highly recommended are the Chitol Maacher Kalia, Bhapa Ilish, Murgh Safedi, Roast Chicken or Lamb and the Lobster Thermidor. Great view, great food, great experience. What more could one ask for?

Great food excellent ambience.... Was astonished seeing the bird's eye view of Salt Lake and Kolkata to most extent. Booked reservation online using there website www.charnocks.in and the transaction was pretty smooth.
Charnock's deals a lethal combo of sumptuous food,awesome ambiance nd a great view of the Salt Lake Stadium.. the chef at this place crafts continental cuisine to near perfection which probably explains the hordes of firangis hanging around.....
