This is the most horrible day care and school I have come across. Last week during the summer camp one of the teacher Tanuja slapped my son. When I checked with Mini and Vani, instead of checking the facts they stared to prove that my son is lying. I would strongly recommend to stay away for this institution.
I have been associated with Kangaroo Pouch for the last 3 years with my son going there for Day Care. Initially the Owners Mini and Vani has been extremely co=operative but offlately there interest has gone down significantly. Last week during the Summar Camp, one Teacher Tanuja has actually slapped my son. How dare she can do that and that too in a summer camp which is meant for a fun for kids. The audacity of Mini and Vani has been without finding out the fact they started defending their teacher and started saying that son is lying. They are horrible and I suggest refrain for this.
I totally agree with the reviews posted on May 3 and Aug 30, the quality is degrading. The day care was fabulous at time of Sandhya and Preeti, since the time they have left the new teachers have not managed to give the same warmth and touch. My child still talks about Sandhya and complaint a lot about new teacher- saying that she scolds. My child was scared to go to the restroom stating that "akka scolds". As parent it is just fair to highlight the change and make the onwers conscious about the fall in service. I do not agree with the parents who feel that just because an association has lasted for 2 + years one cannot highlight fall in service or changes which are not favourable. I am a parent whose child was going to RTW last to last year and hav friends whose kids are still going there...gr8 place, good people and the best thing is my child says she wants to go back there even now...she is in love with the place...
This is all nonsense...i agree with one of the parent...what kind of a parent will take one whole year to know your child...Working parents shud know the needs of their child as they spend less time with them...its all guilt thats working on such parents...take a break and take care of ur children if u care sooo much...shud try other daycares around to get the real feel..its like cattle space, no space 100+ kids and zero care....Am happy with the school and thank god am not working...my child is getting overall development. try spending more time with ur kids..rather than cribbing abt the daycare after one whole year..
I am a parent who is with this school for the last 3 years and am still with them...i totally disagree with all this...its very unfare to say things like this after taking the service for such a long time... parents will know if the school is not the right one in a couple of months time...its a shameful thing to admit all this after taking their service for two years...such a thankless generation is all i have to say :-( Folks, its a gr8 place and am still happy about the decision i took...
I donât agree at all as my child n me are very happy . Its been over a year now, prior to that I had a live in maid servant where my son was always made to sit in front of the tv or get thoroughly bored, but now he proudly tells his grand parents ââ I have 2 homes ââ. He enjoys the food n has learnt to eat on his own thanks to the staff for that as it saves me a lot of time back home. He also looks forward to pottery class and clay modeling class which has helped him to bring out the creativity in him.

I was told by my neighbour about these reviews. My child goes to Kangaroo pouch. I am just glad to see that I am not the only one feeling the pinch of drop in quality since Sandhya and Preeti have left . Whenever i approached Vani and Mini I was made to feel as if no parent is feeling same and everyone is happy. Their conversations start and end with "we are not breaking even" - I wonder why? Their charges are one of the highest compared to any creche on ORR and Sjr Road. I wish they pay heed to fact that parents are cribbing not because the rates have increased but because of decline in service. We put our child in Kangaroo pouch Sarjapur in 2010 Jan-Feb). our experience for first 8 months was fabulous. It was small, there was pesonal care, the staff was warm with genuine interest in child care. Now they are grapling with operations. Manage scale with ethos of child care. Their site (http://www.kangaroopouch.in/) boasts of creche where the child is treated like their own and which isn't a glorified bay sitting. Over last six months sadly they have become glorified baby sitting agency. Quality and experience on all parameters is falling. They are not able to retain staff. The food registers give view that child has eaten everything but child after coming home gives compeltely different story. My child was bullied by senior children
