Venkatappa Art Gallery And Karnataka Government Museum: Housing the works of some of the well-known artists like M.F. Hussain, Yusuf Arakkal, Vasudev, Hanumaiah, Hariram, Rekha Rao, and N.S. Bendre, Venkatappa Art Gallery is run by the Government of Karnataka and is one of the major art galleries in the city. It is divided into two halls and exhibits over 600 paintings. In addition to this, the gallery has stone sculptures from the Mathura and Khajurao Schools of Art.
