Hello we are Ceddrik and Nathalie from France, we stayed at Meenakshi guest house in Udaipur for two months. We did enjoy very much this place because it is central and comfortable and because we have hot water and a roof top, The owners, Subhash and Meenakshi are very friendly. The view on Pichola lake is very pleasant, we also see the moonsoon palace and the mountains in the distance.We recommend this place for long stays and even for a week for instance, The kitchen is big and all the kitchen things are there.We are peaceful and privacy is respected fully.

This is the most amazing place to stay in Udaipur especially because of the wonderful family who live there. I stayed on two seperate occasions for a total of 7 months and my time there was enriched by a close connection with Hindu culture and family life through my interaction with the warm, friendly and hospitable family who live there. The rooms are spacious, clean and have all neccesary facilities. You don't feel like a tourist when staying there, it is a very local atmosphere with a bustling market nearby, and just a short walk to the touristic part of town. In this place you get the best of both worlds. The prices are very reasonable for the kind of experience you will have here, if you want to experience the richness of life in India

lovley place, we stayed here for two months and loved it. two large rooms with high-ceilings and lake piccola views from the large windows, second storey of the land-lord's house where he lives with his wife and daughter in a family-owned inner courtyard away from the busy dusty streets. great location, not 5 minutes walk away from the tourist market and old city. argeeable prices and friendly people. highly reccomended for a stay of a few days up to monthes.
