Painted Platters: Painted Platters is Bangalore's first dessert parlour. Perfect to the palate, presented with panache, leaves you pining for more. The bakery is in effect a dessert cafe. Run by chef Manavalan and his family, the cafe has a very inviting personal touch to its service and ambience. Most desserts are new to the Indian palate: Creme Brulee, Rhum Savarin, Viennese desserts-a Dobos Slice, a Malakov Torte and the Alhambra. The platters are decorated with edible chocolate spray that reads many a witty line. Apart from edible art, there is amateur art for sale as well.
