Nrityagram Dance Village: A community of dancers living and learning in the gurukul tradition in a beautiful campus. Nrityagram offers a three-year residential training programmein Odissi, Kathak and Bharatnatyamthat is intensive, and supplemented by courses in Indian Literature, mythology, poetry, Sanskrit, music, aesthetics, history of dance, philosophy, spiritual thought and dance theory. Students also learn martial arts, yoga, and mime. The dance village is undergoing a massive extension programme whereby dance studios, gymnasium, yoga room, massage room, steam room and Jacuzzi are being built.
