Editor's Note
Sethji Home Made Foods: Fresh homemade North Indian thalis and a modest art gallery make Sethjis worth a visit. If you happen to just land up there without a clue about it, you might find the gallery-cum-eatery intriguing. Heres the secret: this is a place where you can enjoy a freshly cooked homemade meal, mooli ka parantha and similar treats without unnecessary frills. Mr Sethji himself is an ageing lover of the arts and painter whose works are displayed on the walls. Interestingly, you might just run into a poetry reading or mehfil here.

I friend took me to this quaint little place last Thursday. It's more of a dhaba than a restaurant (something similar to Delhi Food Point in Kormangala). The food is fresh and light on the oil. You get that amazing feeling of eating at home. Steer clear of boondi raita as the boondis are verrry crunchy.....my personal liking are soft boondis :). Lassi could have been more thicker but then again, that's personal taste. Overall, it's a nice and casual place to unwind with friends in breakfast and dinner hours.
You would actually feel that you are sitting in your home drawing room and having food, absolutely home made food....lassi is too good
Am a regular at sethji. The staff seriously behaves that way!! The food has good home made feeling. The ambiance and service is just fine for their low cost.
Certainly a place to be if you are looking for some good punjabi veg food, the possible turn off may be the ambience but that does not take abything away from the quality of food served out here.Definately worth going... even for the affluent lot!
