Manjunath Tiffin Room: The Benne masala dosa, Uddin Vada and filter coffee here are rapturous. The dosas arrive crisp, piping hot and slathered in freshly churned butter. The ubiquitous masala filling of potatoes, onions, chillies and peas is perfectly spiced and in exact proportion to the dosa. The coconut-chilli chutney, and onion-tomato sambhar is not really needed, but manages to raise the bar even further. If greed overtakes, then order an Uddin Vada, with the right amount of pepper and salt and jeera in the mix, the outside is crisp and a golden brown, while the inside is surprisingly soft. Finish with a frothing tumbler of south Indian filter
