Umerkot Restaurant: Visit Umerkot for melt-in-the-mouth kababs, fiery biryanis and rich traditional recipes for a spicy Mughal affair. Indulge in a meat extravaganza with perfectly spiced Ghost Chaanp Narangi and Murgh e Firdaus while you watch the chefs expertly toss naans and rotis through the kitchen window. The Zafrani Biryani is particularly good and the Kesar Kulfi offers a delicate finish to a sumptuous feast. This is no place for a hurried meal and the wine shop is a nice distraction from the laidback service.

The service was really poor. Waiter took such a long time to take our order and to bring the dishes too.
Good restaurant with great ambiance. Loved their starters and desserts are awesome.Would recommend this to visit.
Food is good and Service is not extraordinary, but has been always friendly
Ambiance is ok and pleasant.
Stepped into Umerkot after reading couple of good reviews on the net and was totally disappointed. To begin with, the spread if very limited. For the amount of 325 plus taxes, it is not worth the price. Starters and desserts are on buffet, while the main course is served at the table. All well planned such that patrons do not eat much. As regarding the starters, the amount placed in the buffet counter is very little. For instance, if it is paneer tikka, you will find 6 to 8 tikkas in the serving dish. One feels hesitatant to take when so little is placed in the counter. Looks like all dishes are nearing exhaustion when the buffet has just started. The main course which is served at the table, is again limited. If you ask for rotis, they wil ... View More

Went here with a group of friends and opted for a buffet. Starters were okayish, one of the starters karari gobhi was harder than actual gobhi starters are. Even though it was a buffet and we self serviced with the starters, the main course was served on our table. The main course was decent. Infact I felt it was home like home food. Chicken, Mutton, mix veg, paneer, dal and rotis. And now comes the best part, the deserts, they were quite good. Chocolate rum-ball was awesome and pastry was delightful too. Decent lunch at decent price, not a bad deal.

Loved the food at Umerkot... Hope they continue serving delicious dishes. Am going to visit the restaurant again, very soon.
Agree with Hemanth. It is overly priced, overly hyped. Except for ambience there is nothing good to talk about Umerkot. If you want to have few drinks with your foreign client or something, it could work, otherwise it is not worth it.
After all the lavish comments that were bestowed on this place, I visited with my friends and this place is a disaster. The food is pretty bland and lacks to tingle any of your taste buds if you are looking for that. They are too pricey and they just dont know how to serve good food and make people happy. They end up just burning a deep hole in your pocket. They are taking advantage of all the IT crowd that will visit this place and pay for the dumb food that they serve. If you ever want to try uncooked chicken dipped in vinegar visit this place and I wish you a happy experience.
a nice family eatout, its not really big or anything but some ingenious seating arrangement gives Umerkot a spacious feel.food is good, booze is expensive nd not that good either, service is slow.
Mediocre food. I won't visit again
