I have been a student of yoga for eight years and I should say that, the best yoga class I have attended is with Pradipika - The Institute of Yoga and Therapy run by Ms.Pooja Shenoy. Her extensive knowledge about yoga makes classes very challenging, inspiring & beneficial.
I joined yoga therapy for High B.P. coupled with Giddiness, Mental stress and Acidity. I was suffering this for about 3 â 6 Months or so. Though I was not taking any medicine for B.P., I used to control through diet and regular walking. However, my regular B.P. reading did not come below 140 / 90. After attending the initial classes of the Yoga therapy, I noticed improvements in my health. The Yoga teacher Ms.Pooja Shenoy would teach all practices in simple ways ... View Morethat one can understand. She infuses the joy of yoga, with the discipline, creating classes that teach the body/mind connection. During the course of yoga therapy, I learnt various Asanas, Pranayama, Meditation & Diet control. I am really enjoying the practice of Pranayama & Meditation. Now, my B.P. reading has become normal 120 / 80, not experiencing Giddiness. I am more relaxed and mentally centered, and I have an overall feeling of well being.
I would recommend her yoga classes to anyone interested in developing a yoga practice to improve their body composition, as well as gaining the tools for having greater health.
