I had been to the Quintessence restaurant in Hotel Raj Park along with my wife on 24 May 2014 for lunch. The food served in the Buffet was abysmal. The soup was utterly disappointing and wasn't anything more than a mere thin stock. The rice was definitely laced with soda which I could tell due to the flatulence we both developed soon after our meal. They flaunt unlimited mocktails which are unpalatable. At the most, the only "non-substandard" dish we had were the desserts. Even there, the ice cream was kept away from display and was only made available when requested. All in all, the experience cast a wet blanket on our hopes of enjoying a good meal. This place is definitely on my blacklist now.
