Head here for a delicious Continental meal in a great ambience. The sunlit verandah with olive green lamp shades and white and steel just add to the fresh ingredients like olives, sun dried tomatoes, fish and chicken that go into the making of freshest pizzas and pastas here. Start your meal with antipasti like the crumb fried olives stuffed with lamb/cheese, crostini with tomatoes, chicken and olives, crostini with arugula and goat cheese. Amazing place. Just had a fantastic dinner and brilliant live jazz performance by Amit and co.. Thanks guys.
Herbs n Spices is located in a quiet by lane in 80 ft road (its pretty hard to locate, look for a narrow lane after KFC nd just before Dominos) its got a warm neighbourhood eatout feel to it with spartan furnitures nd whitewashed walls.i usually hit this place for a beer nd chicken salad nd it sure tastes nice nd i wuld hav had dinner at this place if it wasnt so freakin expensive,i guess a meal for two with drinks would easily come to 1000rs..
good continental fare...pretty steep (expect a damage of 600rs per head).....not a place to go if you are really hungry nd want a quick bite..the place likes to take its own sweet time end and you'd end up waiting atleast 30 mts before the starters arrive...
I am surprized no one has reviewed this one. Amazing place. Small, cozy but a little steep for its ambience. They don't give you a menu. Dishes are listed out on the board which I found terribly difficult to read sitting on the table a few meters away. It took us a good 10 minutes to figure everything out .. as it is the names are exotic enough. I dont know who the cook is but the owner of the place is a happy man (he was counting money from a tiffin box when I went to congratulate him on building a good place). :-) .. so hope he has made enough to open one in south bangalore....
