Goethe Institut: An institute teaching German and offering a library, cultural events, performances and seminars. Max Mueller Bhawan is a cultural institute developed by the Federal Republic of Germany and supported by the embassy of Germany. The institute is a center for learning the German language and experiencing the cultural, historical, social and political heritage of the country. The center offers the city a chance to participate in cultural events, theatrical performances, film screenings, exhibitions and seminars brought to India from Germany and Europe. The institute also has an extensive library stocked with rare and celebrated literature from Germany.
