Delhi University South Campus: Higher education for students in South Delhi. Established in 1973 by the University of Delhi, South Campus moved to its present location in 1984. It is spread over 69 acres with buildings that blend beautifully into the hilly terrain. There are a number of reputed colleges under its jurisdiction that include College of Vocational Studies, Delhi College of Arts and Commerce, Deshbandhu College, Dyal Singh College, Gargi College, Kamala Nehru College, Lady Shri Ram College for Women, Maitreyi College, Motilal Nehru College, PGDAV College and Shaheed Bhagat Singh College.
