Tewari Bros makes a fresh batch of sweets every morning their Gajar Ka Halwa is sublime, especially if its washed down with a tall glass of cold Lassi. Apart from the mithai (and the Kaju Katli should be high on your list), they also sell a range of namkeen items like Khasta Kachoris, Samosas, Paneer and Bread Pakoras. The Bhujia Sev, Chivda and roast dal are also fresh and crisp.

Arre Pandit Ji ki dukaan kisi se kum nahi! Go there early morning and wolf on their poori-sabzi : gatte ki sabzi, aloo matar and then try their garam jalebis. Go in the evening and the chat counter is waiting for you. The paani puri wala is a lil on his Bihari isshtyle i.e. sometimes he gives you an extra puri if you make him happy. Wah wah!
