Ragoos: If you are looking for great vegetarian Italian, Indian or Chinese food, head to Ragoos and don't miss the pizzas. A purely vegetarian restaurant that has a choice of cuisines (especially continental) is hard to find. Ragoos fills this void in the restaurant scene in Bangalore deliciously. Of the continental fare the Indiana Passion Pizza and Chilli Carbonara Pasta are very popular. The Mexican Rice with Vermicelli and Herbs in a fiery sauce is a must try. The Indian and Chinese menus have a lot to choose from and the restaurant on the whole is good value for money.

I and my wife love the food here. We hae tried only italian. If you are looking for great italian vegetarian this is the place. One disappointing thing is they don't make as many fresh salads. Pasta, pizzas, almost everything is great here. It's not usually crowded. The airconditioner is not all that great, it gets a little warm because of the big oven. But I still love the ambiance and the smell of authentic italian herbs.
Went again to the place and it still makes magic. This time I tried the pizza which had mangoes, pineapple and jalapenos on my half and plain Margaretta on my daughter's half. We chose deep pan crust this time. Amazing stuff. Always reminds me of the New Heaven pizza I used to have Connecticut. You don't even need a drink along with it to wash it down. Once you eat this I can assure you that you will not go back to those factory pizza in large chains.

The pasta and the starters are yuck, to say the least. As Cataraptor said, it's actually a mash-up of ketchup and chutney. Have not tried the pizza yet but maybe we will. PIZZA PORT in a bylane of Koramangala, near Friends, gives great non-MNC style pizzas (almost like the yummy Smoking Joe chain of Bombay)
I completely agree with Birla. Their pizza is the best. I usually get bored with the Pizza Hut and corner stuff. Reminds me of the street corner small pizzerias in US. We have made it a practice to order from them at our office and home. I would love this place to survive for long.
Avoid the pasta - I ended up ordering other Italian stuff and had an inedible mess of ketchup and hot pepper served up - I'm not convinced about their range beyond the pizzas.
One of my friends introduced me to this place few months back and I am almost addicted to it now. I always end up eating the great brick oven pizzas they make. The pizzas taste much better than lot of those MNCs dish out to you which makes you feel like eating a factory product. My all time favorite pizza out here is the one with mango. The sweet mango with khara jalapenos tastes amazing.
