Was a fan of this place until my last visit.Totally taken aback by the drop in quality. Good ambiance. We had opted for the entertaining @ Ebony package as we were a large group and a la-carte would be a pain. As it is a kind of package similar to a buffet served on the table, the managers and the waiters literally looked at us as if we were second grade citizens! They literally denied to serve more starters. Getting one plate for a table seating 9 members and then making us wait for half an hour for another piece of the starter was insane. And to add to it, a frozen insect in the dessert. And the waiter argues it to be the silver foil ! FYI, the bill was 6668 for 9 members and i do not see even half worth it being justified! Guys, it'd have been really helpful if your shared the estimated dining costs. Moreover, what about coming up with a provision for uploading the menu cards in pdf format?
As some posts here say 13th floor is the best place. Ebony does nt have that appeal. Probably if you get one of those tables facing the MG Road (with the metro work going on) you are biggest loser of money. Food is relly tasty and options are good. (Continental, mughlai, north indian and south indian). Bevs served are also good (after all 13th floor is also owned by them). But the table might play the spoil sport.
This is one place that should be recommended for every visitor to Bangalore, either Indian or Foreign. The ambience is out-of-the world, especially if you are fortunate to go there on an evening when you get showers. Though it is open-air, there is protection from rain in the form of awnings which are promptly pulled at the sight of rain. The music is top-notch. They start with soothing instrumental music and turn it on to more livelier-stuff as the night progresses. By then you would have had a couple of drinks and you would definitely enjoy the fast-paced high decibels. Food is good and the service is also great.
If you are a Bangalorean, you must have been there atleast once, else you are not a true one at that! Need I say more!

I really loved this place till some bad experiences lately! They are expanding and making more space but sitting at these places makes you feel as if you have come to a dhaba... service has deteriorated. make sure to find out where you are going to be seated before you go. Food is amazing but a little overpriced specially now that the service has deteriorated! Food choice is good but do not make the mistake of taking your parents(if they do not like to experiment), they'll end up choosing 3 out of 5 to 6 dishes. A good place to go with your friends if you have money and are able to find a good place.
