Janapada Parishad: Janapada Loka, is a subsidiary of Karnataka Janapada Parishath, and is dedicated to preserve, promote and inspire the different folk arts, crafts and culture of Karnataka. This art complex is situated on the Bangalore - Mysore highway, about 53 kms from Bangalore city. The 15 acre, art and crafts complex is a treasure-trove, and has an astounding collection of over 5000 artefacts of tribal and folk arts from Karnataka. The arts and crafts on display includes masks, dolls, hunting and fishing implements, weapons, shadow puppets, and household gadgets etc.
