This Doctor is not for you if you are dependant only on your Insurance company for your treatment. We went to Apollo Hospitals Greams Road(Chennai) for a ByPass Surgery. Our Insurance company had approved for cashless hospitalization which means we need not pay any money from our pocket(except some administrative fees) from admission till discharge. The Insurance company was supposed to pay our bill directly to the Hospital. But, this doctor demanded that his fees (approximately Rs.45000) be paid before the Surgery. He was not willing to wait until the Insurance company settles the amount. We paid the Surgeon's fees thinking that our Insurance company will later reimburse the amount.
