Samrat Restaurant: This vegetarian restaurant has the best comfort food one could wish for, and this too in a variety: Khichdi. There are ten varieties of Khichdi, ranging from the bland plain khichdi to the special dry fruit khichdi, all of which can be embellished with a papad of your choice. The thali is impressive and the vegetarian dishes are of many varieties: Methi Malai Mutter, Koftas, Kurmas and Paneer. Start off with a jal jeera, have chaas to accompany your meal, and end with a Gulab Jamun or Rabdi. If you are just feeling snacky then cutlet or cheese balls are in order.

Me and my wife went to Samrat for lunch. We were very happy to find mouth-watering, delicious food with amazing choice for vegetarians! I'm a 'Starter' fan, so we ordered Assorted platters, Hara Bhara Kabab in cheeze sauce and capsicum rings in which Kebabs were fantastic! Along with the starters, we had Masala Chaas which was superb! We further ordered Paneer Mashrum Masala with Reshmi Paratha, all of which were perfectly cooked & spicey. Overall, a very satisfactory meal experience. Kudos to the chef!
