I holidayed in Turkey from 22.12.2012 to 31.12.2012 with my family (self+ 2 members) under their 'Turkey Captivated Tour'. We had booked the package from India through your partners viz. Aurora Travel Tours P. Ltd. We have already given our Tour Feedback forms on penultimate day (30.12.2012). Still I feel the need to send this mail to convey my views.
All the arrangements in the tour were excellent and your staff managed it very professionally. Right from pick up at airport to drop back at airport, everything was well managed. The tour was made doubly enjoyable by a very well informed, friendly and helpful guide viz. Mr. Bora Savasher. He provided plentiful information about Turkey in general and Istanbul in particular. I think Aurora is a specialized travel company having a well trained staff, the best thing about the whole process was the fact that they knew what they were talking about.. contrary to the above view i had a great experience talking to Dhaval and the entire team, the fact that they know the destinations that they sell so well is unique to this company, Advantages like where to eat what sightseeing to go to what hotel to choose are some of the plusses that one can take from here, the only downside we felt was that they dont sell and promote Australia and New Zealand a place we plan to visit this year..
This is the worst tour agent that you can ever get. We got pathetic visa service, our hotels were not confirmed, we had a 11 day tour and had to change our hotel daily, food was aweful.
Select thomas cook or Sotc, they will value your money aurora is a rip off and plus they do not even give you good service, when you call the owner dhaval jangla, he says he is more busy than BARRACK OBAMA, quoted, and will only reply to mails and no phone calls.
the staff does not know anything, they do not offer discount and plus its only dhaval who does ticketing, dhaval who does your itenary plus he is unaware of which group you are in, he forgets everytime you speak with him, our itenary which was given was never followed anytime during the trip.we
