I accompanied my sister, who had recently had a post-pregnancy breakout and minor scarring and wished to get the problem solved. The only reason we went to this place, despite warnings, was that it was close to our house in Santa Cruz. Once there, we were disappointed by the small building and tiny clinic. We had to stand for a while because there were no seats left. Posted all over the walls were newspaper clippings with celebrities so we expected her to have a big ego. We were asked to wait for almost 45 minutes, despite having an appointment, before being shuttled into one of many smaller rooms. There we met an intern-type person who took down our details, some of which we felt were unnecessary, such as asking my sister how long ... View More she had been married (to the day) etc. We saw her write this on top of the sheet and underline it as if it were the most important thing in the session. It soon became clear this intern had no idea what to do next and we waited another 20 minutes before madam Trasi herself finally turned up. Believe me, nothing can prepare you for her.To say she was rude is a euphemism. She began with the fact of the marriage, as underlined by the intern, asking for details and acting very interested and sympathetic. She even took a few details about my newly-born niece. However, this was all fluff to distract us from her real nature. Before starting with business, she felt it necessary to remind us that she charged almost 2000/- per person per session. She didn't examine my sister's face properly, taking what can only be described as "a look" and immediately said we should start off with surgery! Surgery! For someone who has just completed their pregnancy, is on medication, and has a smal breakout and minor scarring.At this point, the intern had a doubt, only to be rudely shushed and irritably explained as to why surgery was the ONLY option. When we told her we were not interested in surgery and only wanted oral/exteral medication she got angry and spoke such filth, it pains me to repeat it. She said what about your husband? Will he stay interested in you if your face looks like this? What about your child? Do you want her to grow up looking at a scarred mother? At this point, my blood began boiling and I pointed a finger at her without saying a word. My sister, who thankfully has a high tolerance, calmed me down. Quickly changing tack, she began arguing on the benefits of surgery and that it was "a mental block" of "small minded and backward people" to not go for surgery.I dont think Trasi is used to people standing up to her. She probably assumes everyone coming has no self-esteem and will listen to anything. We refused again. Realising her sales pitch was not working, she began prescribing every cream under the sun - day, night, sunscreen, along with powerful anti-biotics which we knew, having some doctors in the family, were completely unnecessary. These were used to treat severe infections and had strong side-effects. This of course, was followed by mysteriously named medicines, such as A+B (which turned out to be 600/- multani mitti) that were available only at HER clinic. Suddenly and without warning, she got up and left, as if we had just wasted her time, but not without the ultimate insult. Just as she was leaving, she held my sister's head and tilted toward herself, as though trying to get a better look and said "tsk tsk" before coolly walking off. Needless to say, I was burning with anger as we paid up. Imagine the nerve of the people there, who said that before we left we would have to complete a preliminary procedure (non-surgical, and also 2000/-) for "best results" of the prescribed treatements. We refused, much to their surprise, paid for the session, and left. As we were leaving, we found another lady coming out of one of a similarly small room, who also seemed flustered and angry. As we left, we tore up the prescription sheet and bill and threw it away. On returning home, I did what I should have done in the first place - searched for natural alternatives on the internet. It turns out post-pregnancy breakouts are not uncommon and after trying a couple of home-made facepacks and peels (completely natural), my sister's complexion slowly improved and she is happy with her complexion now. My advice to anyone who chances upon this: avoid this woman, her clinic and whatever she prescribes at all costs.View Less
