Sadly, Chowdiah is the only option for any large-scale performance in Bangalore although it hardly rates as among the best. The approach road is narrow and parking is a mess. They could easily organize a better concession stand than the chaos at the current canteen. Even inside, the air-conditioning is usually turned on just before the performance and switched off 10min before the end, making it rather stuffy. I look forward to some competition coming up, so that these guys are forced to offer decent amenities to theatre lovers in Bangalore

Teensy tiny place, but the food was decent. We last went in 2007 so maybe this review is outdated :-)

Go there just for the amazing steaks and burgers. And to spend a lazy afternoon. If you expect quick service and cheap burgers, try McDonald's instead :-)

I wouldn't say the A-la carte menu is expensive. Instead, their buffet is very reasonable. Even the ala carte is comparable to most such places and the food here is SO much better!! We just love going back.

The best place to destress in Bangalore. Can't believe it is right in the heart of the city! A tad expensive but totally worth it.

At least their intra-city service is excellent. The packers came at 6AM and finished by 2PM including unpacking. They carried boxes by stairs up 4 floors and did not complain or fuss about money. Very pleasant and helpful, they ensured our move within Bangalore was painless. Kudos to Satyavan, Naresh and the team!

We've tried and LOVED the one in Chennai. Can't wait to see if the magic is recreated in Bangalore...

Although a little slow, this is the place for a leisurely and charming continental dinner. Excellent mini-pizzas, heavenly cold-coffee and generous portions of pasta and chicken. Probably the best chain of Italian/Continental food in Bangalore. An oasis of taste in Jayanagar. Check out the cozy roof top, perfect for a hot summer lunch!

A very average place. Not worth an "outing", more for the quick office lunch. Travesty to see it in the same "recommendation" section as the excellent Casa Piccola!

This was a great place, lovely food and friendly staff. Unfortunately they seem to have shut down. The place has a TO LET sign for the past 3 months. Anyone know if they moved elsewhere?

The pasta and the starters are yuck, to say the least. As Cataraptor said, it's actually a mash-up of ketchup and chutney. Have not tried the pizza yet but maybe we will. PIZZA PORT in a bylane of Koramangala, near Friends, gives great non-MNC style pizzas (almost like the yummy Smoking Joe chain of Bombay)
