Itâs been 2 weeks since I was suffering from back injury.
I was climbing down the stairs when I slipped and I landed on my back on the stairs.
I lied there motionless for quite some time,
when I came back to my senses I figured that I was badly hurt as my back was paining a lot.
Taking it as a muscle injury I didnât go for any check up and took care of it on my own,
but later on the pain became worse as I was now totally on bed and wasnât able to move and indulge in any physical activity, the way I use to prior to my injury. When the pain became unbearable and I could feel slight numbness at the back of my legs, my dad took me to Apollo Hospital Hyderabad , as he had some contacts ther e. Reaching there I went through a MRI scan and I found out I was suffering from Degenerated Disk and it had got worse due to my negligence, to avoid any further damage I went through surgical procedure of Spinal Fusion. After keeping me under good observation and stabilizing my pain I was discharged from the hospital. After my recovery, I was able to get my life back on track and indulge in all types of recreational activities of which I couldnât be part of earlier, due to my injury.
I must really say Indian medical science has taken a giant leap towards use of sophisticated technology.
