I happened to see a pregnant patient , Mrs. Fathima Amtul Baseer .
i am doing regular check up. They will ask too many questions , i will patiently explain everything . She has Hypothyroidism . For any pregnant lady it is necessary to do targeted scan ( 20 weeks ) to rule out anomalies which should be done by experienced Radiologist . I suggested them a experienced radiologist who is a male doctor to whom i usually send the patients. It is unfortunate that she has gender bias which she didnt inform me. But she was angry with me for referring to him . Had she informed about her disliking for male doctor, I would have referred to qualified experienced female Radiologist , rarely available at Tambaram . She behaved indecently and arrogantly inside the consultation room . As her behaviour was disturbing other patients, and hospital environment, i asked to go out of the consultation room . I see lot of pregnant women with care & compassion . So for in 25 years of my experience she was the 1st patient behaving in this bad manner. i & my staffs tried to convince her but pregnant woman is jumping without hearing any explanation. FOR EXPERTISE TREATMENT WE NEVER DIFFERENTIATE MALE AND FEMALE DOCTORS. I am not a money puller as she has projected. The investigations and scans are suggested for the safety of the mother and baby. The patients are educated now , they can search everything in the internet so that they can find out what are all the unnecessary investigations and need not do that. we never compel the pt to do the tests. i will explain everything . So now any wellwisher in the society or the person who posted this comment can go to anywhere , any doctor with all her reports and verify the tests. they completely distorted the situation, because her husband was outside the room, but he totally believed everything and faught with me without asking me what has happened. It is a very important issue and they have to give proper answer for this. Otherwise i have to proceed legally.
IF SHE HAS FAITH IN GOD , SHE WILL REGRET SOON FOR HER BEHAVIOUR AND FALSE STATEMENT SHE HAS GIVEN ABOUT ME .
