Lack of required minimum Air Conditioning, Customer despair, breathlessness and suffocation in Brand Factory outlet and misbehavior of staff" I went to Brand Factory outlet on 19th of June, 2012 at 1 PM. At the apparel shopping section at the very entrance, the Air Conditioning system was not working, neither in the Trial Rooms. Following problems were faced 1. Acute sweating while shopping, breathlessness, lack of ventilation and uneasiness. 2. Sales staff was non-responsive to my complaints 3. When the complaint was made, the sales staff, department manager (Mr. Nihar Shah), operations guy (Mr. Javan Singh) failed to repond 4. I was asked to keep quite and stop complaining as other customers are being disturbed 5. I was neither offered a seat or a glass of Water even looking at my condition, that of a guy sweating extremely, breathless, unwell and came to register a complaint. 6. When i argued that why the billing section or other sections where there own staff sits is well air-conditioned, whereas the Shopping areas, trial rooms and sections where the customers visit are totally out of AC or ventillation, they said that there is some problem with their AC. 7. The department manager asked me to stop complaining and threatened me instead of pacifying me or taking care of me 8. The sales and support staff were totally irresponsible and not courteous enough 9. The department manager, Mr. Nihar Shah is saying that they are not responsible for my problem but the Corporate Headquaters. Well, i do not know anyone there and neither can i learn how to fix air conditioners. By all means, as per some other customers, this problem has been there for the last several months. i had also visited Brand factory about 2 months back, and even then the Air conditioning was switched off. Is it not a regulation for malls to maintain a fair level of ventilation in malls or department stores when there is no natural source of ventilation.
