I took my daughter one day with accute vomiting diarrhea. Since the Peadeatrician was yet to come in and my token # was 14, expected a long wait and took her to emergency instead. The whole emergency team pounced on us and tried to convince that she has to be admitted and stay overnight etc. She was also being prepared for giving fluids and blood already drawn for a blood test. All this happened while husband had found a parking spot and come into the hospital, which took may be three minutes.
We had her take a shot for vomiting and then she could retain fluids. We gave her some tender coconuts and she seemed to improve. Somehow we argued and got out of the emergency.
Looks like they are out to make money when they see a desparate patient. I really would not recommend VIMS to anyone else.
