Srimoyi Yoga near Sarjapur Road - FANTABULOUS!!! It has been almost a week since I have completed the 8 week course at Srimoyi Yoga, and the impact of Bhaswati's class has been such that if I do not practise yoga for a day or two, I feel as if I have missed something in my routine. I was looking out for yoga classes to address hypothyroidism which I have been dealing with since 2 years, as well as leg pain (or cramps?) which has been a "constant companion" since my childhood days! After seeing a number of reviews about Srimoyi Yoga, I decided to check with her, and I am so glad for having decided to do so!!! Bhaswati's classes are customized for each individual's needs, and the personal attention she gives to each student is really appreciable. The classes were never once monotonous, and I have always felt positive vibes at her place. Only after I started attending her classes, I felt that I started getting in tune with my body ! I never realised that the entire right side (legs and hands) of my body was so weak, and Bhaswati has been focused on teaching me asanas that will strengthen my legs and hands, and also to address pranayams/asanas to address the thyroid problem. Now I feel much more flexible compared to how I started out ! In my case, I started getting the results for my leg problem just within a week of attending classes. I used to feel my toes and fingers in my legs twisting and cramping suddenly without any reason, for which I really thought there was no remedy. But after attending Bhaswati's classes, just with constant practice of leg stretching exercises and knee-clenching exercise, I have been able to quick-fix my leg problem. Now all I need is to continue those exercises to strengthen my legs. Apart from yoga, she has shown personal interest to address other aspects (general well-being) of my health as well, and she has also tweaked my lifestyle habits (food and exercise) for good ! Though I did not specifically go for any weight loss issue, after doing yoga, I have significantly reduced my weight by about 4 kgs, and I feel good all day after yoga. Due to thyroid, I always had fatigue throughout the day, no matter whatever I did to make myself active. Seeing the changes in me, now my family (husband and daughter) has also joined me as a part of the "health campaign at home" !! :-) :-) I strongly recommend Bhaswati's classes @ Srimoyi Yoga, and the only thing required from the students is to be disciplined about practising the concepts taught. Having said this, I am waiting for the next session at her place after a short break !!!
