I really disagree to the previous statement. We are really happy with Siksha. My Child is with Siksha since 2011. He will be moving to final stage of Montessori next year. He is 5 years old and like other normal schools, he will be in to Senior KG. Now he is able to do addition in mathematics, he knows numbers from 1 to 100, can count in reverse also. He is able to read and write sentences and make sentences on his own now. He is trying to read hard words from newspapers. All these he had learnt without any strain or stress. Me and my husband are working in IT and cant spare much time at home making him write homework. So I really dont teach him anything. The only thing they say in Siksha also, is, not to teach anything and make kids to do their homework ( which is given just once a week on every wednesdays only, that too after one year) on their own. Neetha Mam is so pleasant and she welcomes, greets everyone. My child is to Vinaya Aunty and she is very very good. No words to explain her patience and kindness towards children. She is so good. In a year two parents teachers meet are more than enough to understand your kid's progress. Hats off to Neetha Mam and all teachers in the school. I personally feel that, all parents should know to motivate their kids to go to school and spend time with them explaining about school and how they need to behave. Infact to add on to this, my child was not Potty trained and daily he used to Potty at school. I have never heard him saying that he was locked in bathroom for any reason. I have seen even Neetha mam handling very active kids also with patience. Please go visit the school and I am sure everyone will like it. Montessori education is best and what else we can give our children except the best education with proper foundation for them !!!!
