Last Saturday, I gave my bike for minor job: replacement of battery and regulator. They said, they would deliver by evening. I went there at 5 in the evening to see a long queue and a score of angry customers shouting at the staff. The service center has a capacity of about 70 bikes, but they take more than 150. They simply cannot deliver on time. I could see my bike being loaded for repair at 5:30 - the time it was supposed to be delivered. I waited for about 2 hours only to know at 7 pm that they cannot deliver the bike. They also refuted my claims of warranty, which I contested. I showed them the warranty book for proof. They said, they would deliver my bike on Monday to my office. I said OK. Come Monday, and I called them in the afternoon. They said. it is a matter of half an hour and the bike would be delivered by 6 pm. I said OK. It was 7 pm, I called them, The supervisor said, the bike was yet to be repaired and the delivery would happen only on Tuesday. The supervisor offered no apologies. Today is Monday. I will update the post tomorrow when hopefully my bike arrives.
