I went there last week for their Holi party, and it was AWESOME! For 800/- per head, we got pichkaris, colours, rain dance, unlimited food and drinks, and of course great music and ambiance. Look out for the time when DJ Jasmeet is playing. His bollywood numbers really get you going.

Jalsa Fine Dinning Restaurant

Average food. Alright service. Ambiance is too flashy for my liking but well done. Jalsa is a new fine dining restaurant near Marathahalli outer ring road, but the food there is not up to the mark of other restaurants nearby. The 'raita' was bitter and the 'phulka's were rubbery. Even the veg seekh kabab starter that I had ordered was over burnt. The saving grace was it's dal tadka, which was quite nice actually.

Spree Hotel

Really nice place! I live in Akme Ballet, and this place is right in front of it. A tad high for your wallet, but overall very nice if you want to impress your girlfriend/wife. The ambiance is nice and the restaurant lively.

The Lalit Ashok

What kind of a name is Lalit Ashok? That's two names. And none befitting a five star hotel.

Saffron

We went to Saffron today for an office party... they experience was disappointing, overall. The waiters took one and a half hours to get the first item on the table. And to top that the food wasn't even good (at least the veggie food wasn't - the non veggies had better luck). The menu doesn't quote the price for nan, roti, and other breads. And they were quite on the expensive side. The decor looks shabby as well. A place to avoid, IMHO.
