I went here for highlights. I have very light brown hair and I wanted to get a few blonde highlights, something natural looking. Just brightening up my curly hair a bit. I picked a color from their swatches and asked for partial highlights, but started to realize - too late - that they were putting in full highlights- all over my head. I kind of just went with it. When the foils came off the highlights were REALLY light. I freaked out a little and they immediately put on a dark gloss to tone things down a bit. However, I really should have trusted them and waited to see what the lighter color looked like, because when the darker gloss came off, my hair was just about a millimeter's difference than the color it was before! I really liked it, but it was extremely subtle and it wasn't what I asked for. I guess this is a good thing because I also asked them not to highlight my fringe - I thought it would look weird - but now my bangs are a very slightly different color than my hair. I guess the moral of the story, and my general feeling about Bodycraft as a hair salon is that they know what they are doing color wise, but that, as with any hair dresser, you really have to be able to communicate what you want to them and they need to make sure they are understanding what you want as well. I wanted sun-kissed streaks, and they gave me a very slightly new color of hair - which does look good! But not what I wanted. Overall good service, and lovely people.
