Eco Hospital And Diagnostic

Barasat ,Kolkata
August 30, 2013
Hello, I have visited ECO Hospital, Barasat on 29.08.13 for reporting to Dr.I.N.Kundu, who is visiting Neurologist there (also the regular doctor at the Bangur Institute of Neurology, Kolkata appointed by Govt. Of West Bengal) and for the first time I paid Rs.200/- for normal, 2 minutes reporting purposes in my life. I hope you people also get surprised. First the nursing home authority told me that they will call me after 5 to 6 patients visited by the doctor there. I told them that I have to go to some outskirts tomorrow early morning and also I am getting some problem now, so I need to visit Dr.I.N. Kundu as early as possible, if possible then after 5 to 6 patients. I told them that 'I will be taking maximum 5 to7 minutes of time to show my reports and getting some suggestion related to my constant pain in my hands and waist'. I was there at sharp 6:30 P.M. when there were no patients waiting for Dr.Kundu. As per the authority Dr.Kundu was supposed to come at 6:30 but when he came there it was 8:30 PM. Anyway after visiting 5 to 6 patients I went to the enquiry counter and told them whether I may visit the doctor having this situation what I told them earlier. Then they(only one guy, some ward boy or clerical staff may be) told me that Dr. Kundu was not taking any reports before visiting the regular patients. But I requested them that I am his regular patient, and as per his direction I have come here to show him the reports. Then they told me some abusive words that hurts my dignity. And I straight went to Dr. I.N.Kundu, but disappointed by his misbehave as in the same manner. He uttered some such slang words to me I was surprised then. Here I am making complain against ECO Hospital Authority and Dr.I.N. Kundu (as he is a Govt. Doctor) and suggesting all for not to visit this type of 'Money-Hungry Doctor' for any of your physical problems. Mukunda Chakroborty, Barasat
