We (MySelf and friend and 10 years of kid) have recently visited the doctor. Doctor diagnosed as “Synus” and deviation in the nose. He mentioned Synus requires Surgery for everyone. Gave 3 weeks of course of medication. If it does not go, it requires surgery. But I did the research 99.99% Synus related problems does not require surgery as per lot of googling and reviews. I was curious how the procedure is going to be as always everyone will be scared of the surgery but I did not get the answer. As a patient, you don’t require to know he said. In some popular countries, patient has all rights to know about procedure and surgery. Doctors have lot of patience to explain each and everything whereas I don’t see here. I see the equipement Infrastrcuture here which I don’t see it in some popular countries (typical normal hospital) as well. Infrastrcuture wise good which is very expensive. I was attracted with that but then realized that equipement Infrastrcuture helps the doctor diagnose best and attract the patients. But you need to go for 2nd or 3rd opinion immediately or do lot of research as you should take decision about your health. Overally, 99.99 % Synus related problems does not require surgery as per these links unless it’s in very bad condition. http://www.everydayhealth.com/ear-nose-throat/sinus-surgery.aspx http://www.webmd.com/allergies/tc/sinusitis-surgery http://www.webmd.com/allergies/guide/allergies-sinusitis http://www.uofmhealth.org/news/sinus-surgery-0714 http://www.medtronic.com/patients/sinus-infections/getting-surgery/questions-answers/index.htm I am not happy with the doctor. I don’t recommend to anyone.
