I think people working there are very irresponsible. I have face their careless as we'll. when you are dealing with some else money you should be very careful and responsible. Citi bank should take actions against such employees otherwise eventually they are going to loose customers.
I am not going to deal with Citi bank ever now. Going to cancel my credit card as well.
Let me tell you my case as well I live in USA and planing to visit my family in India also I had to do visa stamping everything happen suddenly and I am in rush for visa interview date but my case is not an emergency as my parents are old also my father had some work in Delhi late this month I did not want him to go Delhi twice just to submit money. Few of my friends had issue with net transaction and suggest to do I branch I was desperate so I asked favor from my friend who is in Delhi to do this for me and i transferred money to his account despite he just came after a very long travel he went to the Connaught circus branch to pay the amount in cash now bank teller changed 1 digit from my cgi number mean bank teller typed wrong number and completed the payment.
It clearly says on the instructions that PAY ATTENTION to the CGI Number now I can not book visa appointment because my profile has different CGI number and I don't know where the hell my money is.
It's a non- transferable and non-refundable transaction.
Correct it soon because I am planning to report this to USA Embassy as we'll go course we don't want other people to suffer like this.
I hope if they can cancel tie up with Citi down the line if this thing continue to happen.
I am requesting every one who come across to such incidents please post and share with others.
You can't have careless person working in a financial industry. It's a big hassle for lots of other persons who is coming in contact with that 1 careless and lazy person.
