We had a dreadful experience with Shri Shyam packers and movers.
On 26th feb 2014 we shifted our household+car from Noida to Hyderabad, and there started our painful journey.
1. Deal is done by the head (may be the owner) and there ended his role. He never turned up nor he answered our calls properly.
2.His assistants came to pack the household ( did not seem to be professionals) In the process of uninstalling the geyser they broke the flush tank in the wash room. After little negotiation they agreed to pay rs.500 where it costed us Rs.1500.Had a very tough time replacing.
3. The household landed up in our area on early moring of 5th , without any prior intimation. Truck driver came home and asked us to make our own arrangements to have them unloaded . We even paid for unpacking but everything is gone waste.
4. My 7000 tupees nike shoes were stolen in the process.
5. and now comes the story of our car . It was supposed to reach Hyd by 2nd of March but it came home on 16th . We had to make 1000 calls to know the status but we never got a call from the packers and movers to keep us updated.
Again the trouble started, as per agreement the car was to be delivered at home but we were asked to collect it from Kukatpally metro station which is very far from the place where we reside.
6. We were troubled so much at each level and we were so pissed off when Mr. Anoop Sharma ( The nead/owner) did not respond to our calls at all.
7. Finally we ended up the journey being cheated. even after so many reminders we did not yet recieve the Insuance papers ( there are damages to be claimed, but god knows if we can ever get the insurance papers)+ Octroi is forcebly charged from us with out showing us the receipt- we have enquired from internet and othe packers and movers and every body replied that octroi is charged only in Maharastra at rest of the places they just take its name and cheat.
Can never forgive Them for the pain and tension they have give us and for the money they looted from us .
