It all started out so wonderful. A day at the spa with our friends, what's not to like? However the last 30 minutes were pure hell. When my friend went to pay for her crown highlights they charged her DOUBLE what the 'menu' quoted. Turns out they had to re-do her highlights so they charged her twice, however the reason they had to re-do them was that they didn't show up at ALL the first time. She said she could kind of see them the second time (2 hours later) but I still couldn't tell a difference. Except she had dark hair at the top of her highlights and light hair at the bottom-from her previous 'lights 3 months ago. She had even brought in a color photo of herself with the previous highlights, so they could match them. No such luck. I sympathized with her and emailed the manager, after 3 or 4 emails back and forth; starting with 'let me see what I can do to rectify the situation' to finally no response after providing them with our phone number. But, that's just HER part of the story. I paid 4500 rupees ($70USD) for "3D Color" Highlights AND Lowlights I ended up with almost black hair (my natural hair color is a dark blonde) with about 5 tiny light streaks on top. It was really disheartening to have such high expectations of the day and have them shattered. (PS The massage was wonderful and I would recommend that part.)
