Searching for root cause of anemia: It is quite important to find out the root cause of anemia. That is , is there a gastrointestinal bleed. Or is it poorly functioning bone marrow
In cases of gastrointestinal bleed, which are occult specific treatment is required. It is a difficult diagnosis to establish. Requires ruling out of a bone marrow cause of anemia. And about junior doctors seeing patients - they do! It is a medical college hospital. But they are closely monitored and every clinical decision is done only in consultation with a senior doctor. Lot of clarifications and discussions take place out of patient eye. YOu can discuss your doubts withthe doctor. They would be glad to help
Further if a patient has been admitted for long, and no new symptoms are present, priority will be given to patients with acute symptoms. Though we wish it were possible, we can be only at one place at a time.
There are no experiments conducted on patients. Guided procedures, especially when situated near major arteries are done with extreme care- here safety is given priority. Hence we would err on the side of caution - reattempting the FNAC instead of puncturing a vessel.
Regarding specific doctor issues, especially regarding doctor fees please bring it to the notice of the management. IF you did have a bad experience wrt such behavior you will get an apology and remedial action
