I agree with Hema Dec6 2012 review.
My kid is in XI th std. and she hates to go to School because the teachers She says are not good at all. I am seriously considering other schools.
This school is only interested in maximizing their profits. I don't think there is anything wrong with that but when it comes at the cost of compromising your kid's education the problem starts there.
The school pays teachers very less. Almost all of them are underpaid and hence they do not get GOOD teachers and within a year the Good teachers leave the school and go. Most teachers working here are REJECTS of nearby schools â especially Velammal.
The Chennai Public school management also believes in revenues from EVERY TRANSACTION - for example - for the Annual day - if your kid is doing a skit the charges for the dress would be close to Rs2500/- ONce you cough up the money you will find that the dress does not fit well. You will have no one to go and complain (thatâs the best part).
The school also charges very high for BOOKS (no bills are given) Most parents cannot complain because they have their kids there. The toilets are BADLY maintained (as they do not pay the cleaners well recently ALL of them resigned work on a single day)
Parents please donât look at the building and get your kid admitted there. This school does not have a proper playground / library / lab at all. The PASS results that are being advertised by the school is happening because of the FIIT JEE program running in the school and not from their regular students. I am worried about my kid â so please think twice before you put your kid here.
