Recently me & my family went to Kashmir with Dolphin travels. On the very first day I told them that journey by train should be made in AC class only &reservation should be confirmed. When I received the the train tickets by post I found that my reservation for return journey by Sealdah Rajdhani exp in AC 2 tier from New Delhi to Sealdah was waitlisted 10,11,12. I went to their Bowbazar office again & enquired about this. I was assured by the senior person in their office that as return journey was after two & half months the births will be confirmed by then.I trusted upon his words and that was the big mistake I made.Later on they did not help me when till journey date we moved to RAC 11,12,13 only. Their tour mngr intimated me if I was ready to pay rs 4500 confirmation arrangement could be tried.The person of Dolphin travels who looks after reservation in their office is an insensitive,irresponsible to customer need. Their aim is to trap the customer with sweet talks and once u make the advance payment then u r at their mercy.We had a very horrible journey from ND to SDAH sitting as only seats were alloted to us. Me & my wife are senior citizens 67&60 yrs old & one can easily realise the sufferings we had to face.They did not even intimated me before booking in wait listed tickets.I had no fascination of travelling by Rajdhani exp & could easily be booked in any other train. Only thing I asked for confirmed berths in AC coach which was not done. The tour was other wise fine. Food,hotels vehicles were comfortable& okay. Please do not trust their office manager words regarding reservation.The staff & Pradip Barman tour manager were very good. Be aware of the people of Dolphin travels office.
