Since this hosptial has been certified as NABH...was expecting a better service and more responsible begaviour towards patients
Wanna bring this incident happened today at 5.15 pm , my mom got operated last week and visited hospital today for redressing over the area which got operated last week. We were there at 5.15 pm and there were two nurses and a doctor. Being a emergency ward patients needs to be attended quickly but we were told to wait , if they were attending any patients then it would had been quite appropriate to ask the patients to wait ..but these nurse were busy chitchatting with each other
We waited till 5.45 and then again asked the nurse we were told wait again ...we thought it was ok to wait for a while as a patient with a emergency has arrived at that time
We waited till 6.40 pm and again when we enquired menitoning the current state of the patient as we had been waiting for more than an hour the nurse started scolding saying "who told you guys to come on Sunday or on emergency why can't you people come on regular day ". I mean come-on is that the way to treat the patient who is visiting for emergency and above all the nurse were not engaged or busy in any activity they were busy doing timepass
I didnt expected this kind of behaviour with the patient who had a surgery 3 days back in the same hospital
Hospital has increased the charges and they keep mentioning that they are only one to get NABH certified between Borivali and Dhanu ..was expecting a much improved service level toward patients after getting certified ..but my experience of today proved ....their service level and concern toward patients has gone down to the lowest level
Would request their management to seriously think over this concercrn cause being such reputed name and where every people associated with this hospital gives lectures and talk about humanity ....would teach their employee who treat patients ....to get a lesson on humanity and how to handle patients
